What our reviews are and are not
Our reviews are editorial assessments based on official plan pages, published specifications, terms of service, public documentation and pricing checks. Unless a page explicitly says otherwise, we have not run lab benchmarks, and we never present published specs as test results. When we add hands-on tests, the page will say what was tested, when and how.
Sourcing
- Prices come from the provider’s official pricing page, with the check date shown on the page.
- Specifications come from official plan pages or documentation, linked where practical.
- Each figure is recorded in our central price database (open dataset), so one update fixes every page.
Price checks
An automated monitor re-checks each official pricing page and flags any price that no longer appears. An editor then verifies the flagged price by hand before it is changed on the site. Every change is recorded in the public price & update log.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools for research assistance, outlines and proofreading. Every published page is reviewed by an editor. Facts and prices are checked against primary sources, and no page is published without that check.
Updates
We review pillar pages and reviews at least quarterly, and immediately when a provider changes prices or plans. The "Updated" date changes only when the content changes in a meaningful way.
Corrections policy
Found an error? Email team@getbesthost.com or use the contact form with the page URL. We aim to review reports within 3 business days. Factual corrections are fixed on the page and logged in the update log with the date.
